Weekly Web Muffins - Issue 3

It's been quite a while since I sent you the baked goods, so I will save you the apologies and give you the good stuff.

This website is absolutely beautiful. I visited this website and spent a good amount of time just enjoying the soundtrack, the beautiful illustrations and the intersections of poetry and nature. This deserves four stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Listen and Donate

Can you imagine losing your ability to move and speak? It's a thing. It's a neuromuscular pathology, called MND (motor neuron disease) also known as Lou Gherig's disease.

I like this website because it educates about the disease in a very interesting way, which uses your webcam to allow for eye-tracking for controlling where you click.

But the website also pitches you the opportunity to contribute to a charity in a very EASY way. You see, they have a music album that you can listen to from Spotify or Apple Music and every listen contributes to their charity, which was created to train nurses and caregivers in how to care for people with MND. You can also buy their vinyl album :)

I know listening in Spotify is for a good cause, but I really like their music either way. This deserves five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Internet in a box

This is a really cool project. It's one of those that you find and instantly think:

Faith in humanity restored

Internet in a box brings a condensed (but very important) part of the internet to places without the internet, like rural Peru, or like in the video above, a village in the Dominican Republic.

It works with very diverse hardware, like this hard drive with built-in hotspot.

Seagate Terabyte Hard Drive with Hotspot
